First Gradel Quad gargoyle placed

The first of the 25 new gargoyles that will be arranged around the Gradel Quadrangles was put in place today. 

, the stone mason responsible for the gargoyles, was on hand along with the Warden and Home Bursar to see the gargoyle (depicting a polar bear) lowered into place. 

Each of the 25 gargoyles is of a different animal and they will be installed in the coming weeks.
