Weston Buildings

²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ-owned graduate accommodation is mainly situated at the Weston Buildings, which were built in the mid and late 1990s and are located alongside a branch of the River Cherwell at the ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ Sports Ground, a 7-minute walk from the ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ. The Weston Buildings comprise 16 houses with 6 single rooms and 3 bathrooms to a house. Each house has a large, modern kitchen with a dining area looking out onto the sports-field. The address is: Weston Buildings, New College Sports Ground, St. Cross Road, OXFORD OX1 3TJ.

All ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ-owned graduate rooms are single study bedrooms. Bathrooms and toilet facilities in the Weston Buildings are not en-suite, but are shared between two rooms. All graduate rooms are let on a self-catering basis. There is a kitchen in each house with ‘fridge/freezer, hob, oven and microwave but you need to bring your own kitchen utensils, posts, pans, plates and so on.

There is an option to choose between a 39 (1 October – 30 June) or 48 (1 October – 31 August) week lease type.

Castle Mill

Castle Mill is managed by the Graduate Accommodation office. 

Castle Mill is located at the end of Roger Dudman Way, between the railway line and Port Meadow, It is well placed for both the city centre and the train station. There is also access through the Northern end of the site to Jericho, North Oxford and the Science Area. 

The ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ supplements its housing stock for graduate students by renting several en-suite graduate rooms in flats at the University’s site; these are allocated to new graduate students.

  • General Information

    Students will need to bring their own duvets, pillows, duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases. Alternatively,  and sent to the ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ in advance of your arrival. You should use the code OXNEW17 for 10% discount at check out. Please ensure that your name and status (Postgraduate or Undergraduate) are clearly given when ordering. The delivery address is ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ, Oxford, OX1 3BN. A small number of student rooms have double beds so you should check with the The Domestic Services Manager before ordering.

    Storage - the JCR and ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ run an external storage scheme with Charles Wood and Sons, where you can securely store possessions you want to leave in Oxford during vacations.
